MATRIX LIGHTS

Mercedes-Benz Matrix lights, also known as Multibeam LED, is an advanced headlight system that is available on some Mercedes-Benz vehicles. It is a combination of LED headlights and a complex camera-based sensor system that automatically adjusts the light beam according to the driving conditions.

The Matrix lights use a camera sensor that detects oncoming vehicles, pedestrians, and other obstacles, and automatically adjusts the light beam to avoid blinding other road users while still providing optimal visibility for the driver. It also features cornering lights, active high beams, and a selective beam function that blocks the light from reaching oncoming vehicles while illuminating the side of the road.

The Matrix lights provides a safer and more comfortable driving experience by adapting the light to the specific situation on the road, such as in the city, on the highway, or in rural areas. It also has a function that recognizes traffic signs and adjusts the light accordingly.

The major difference between the Intelligent lights and the matrix lights is that the matrix lights uses LED technology instead of xenon, which provides a more efficient, brighter, and longer-lasting light source.
